Purchased the Cooksmark Diamond ceramic set. My old inexpensive T-fal Signature non stick cookware is nicer but they needed to be replaced, I wanted to stop using teflon. As far as the Cooksmark set goes the aluminum is thinner than my previous cookware. I measured the top edges at around .125 inch. The handles are just made out of stamped hollow metal and will be tricky to clean. I'll need a brush to get deep in the crevasses and a small bottle brush to clean inside of them. I also don't like that the handles are bare metal. Some clear or black silicone on them would have been nice to make things more convenient and avoid burns. I bought some self fusing silicone tape to put on them so hopefully that experiment will pan out.I really liked the copper color painted exterior but it turns out they are not as shiny as the photos make it out to be. Makes me think they used some trick to add appeal. I do like the light gray colored interior, much easier to see what you are doing compared to the real dark interiors in a lot of cookware. The ceramic interior has a slight texture, not sure if that's good or bad.So far I've only used a single pan one time to fry some sausage so I don't have an opinion on their use yet other than the oil ran to the perimeter of the pan. The pan I used seemed to be slightly domed. My guess is these will warp easier than my old set and I'll need to straighten the bottoms occasionally, right out of the box it appears.I hang my cookware on the wall behind the range so it's very accessible when needed. The glass lids don't have a decent metal lip around the edge for hanging so I'll have to devise hooks of some type. Maybe some wire that can be hooked into the vent hole. When you wash them room temperature lids in hot water they make popping and cracking sounds as they heat up and cool. I suppose it's the metal moving against the glass. I suspect they will do this when cooking also.So far it seems at $180 I paid to much for these, I expected them to be nicer. I suspect I'll be purchasing something else next time. But before I completely write them off I'll put them through the paces. Hopefully I can get a couple years out of them.they look great work good are easy to keen and the most part is my wife likes them.Excellent quality, nonstick, good looking cookware and great price, you can’t go wrong. These actually clean up easily like you see on TV all the time with everything sliding off but those cheap ones don’t and these do. Love the enamel coating and the copper… remodeling my farmhouse kitchen with these prominently displayed. Cooks great, cleans great, looks great!I wanted a good set of pots and pans that didn't have teflon that scratched over time and that matched instead of the set of this and that from various stores. I chose this nice copper set because of the reviews and the description - it was what I wanted. HOWEVER, over a short period of time, everything sticks! It's not that easy to clean without a scrubbing sponge, which always makes it worse the next time I use it. I wish I had never bought this particular set. It's no stained and horrible to look at. Pretty out of the box, but that will grow old.I got these for the appearance and the technology. I've been using my set for about 2 years now and they've held up great. Would buy again if I needed a replacement but unfortunately they're discontinued. I would advise owners of these to only use scrubbing pads on the bottom heating element and NOT on the copper finish. The copper finish is easily scratched so only use the sponge side for cleaning. The ceramic coating are still working well on my set. I've used mine on both gas and induction type stoves. On gas the handles will get very hot especially on high heat because of how the flames propagate around the tapered bottom. These are aluminum so don't need high heat like normal steel cookware so use them the way they're designed at low to medium heat when using gas. For induction cooking don't let them sit there on the high setting unattended as you're just wasting electricity. These heat up fast on high power so should be turned down after reaching the desired temperature.Besides looking great...cleanup is so easy...nothing sticks and everything I cook comes out perfect. Threw away all my other pots & pans!I've had this set for about a week now and no major complaints. First time I used them I was amazed by there non stick when using cooking sprays. Extremely easy to clean with warm water and a little bit of soap. I've seen they recommended oil or butter to lube the pans and not aerosol cans. So since then I've been trying oil and butter to lube the pans and they are still non stick but need a little more oil then I would like in my food to make sure the food will not stick to the pans. I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker but just be aware of it. They recommend to use silicone or wood utensils so I went out to purchase some silicone utensils. These are the softest utensils for your cookware and will prevent from any scratching. I fear that wood might scratch the pans so I didn't pick any of those up. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that 1 pan came with a couple of scratches on the outside of the pan. Also another pan had some of the copper paint on the inside of the pan. These are minor spots but when your spending over 200 for a cooking set you expect them to be perfect. I would still purchase these again because they are a great set and very pleasant to look at. I would also like to add that these handles do get hot towards the base/pot area but the handles are so long that you can avoid the hot areas and use the handles without any problems. I purchase these to replace my Rachel Ray set that only lasted a year and believe/hope these will last longer. I cook 1-2 times a day.
