The coating really helps food not stick unlike older coatings. Pay close attention first time frying. We were frying an egg and the pan seemed hotter and the egg fried faster. So you may have to adjust the heat down when frying. Which is a good thing as least hit means less electric or gas bill.I have already used this pan 50 times or more. It is not only a good-looking pan, but it is very easy to clean. Beware...you may have to buy another to replace your other pans!This is the second pan I received. The first one came with broken handle. Completely separated from the handle. This pan came with the handle loose. It has been tightened a couple of times. My concern is that the handle may break or come apart. Do not like the construction of the handle connection on the pan, but I do like everything else so far about the pan.It is heavy even when empty but it does cook evenlyI bought this mostly for the lid, since it was just as cheap to buy the pan and the lid as it was to buy a replacement lid for another pan. This, surprisingly, became my favored pan. Easy to clean, there's a nice weight to it, and it heats pretty fast and stays evenly heated.I really like this frying pan. This is the second one I have ordered and maintains its "stick free" capabilities as long as you don't subject it to a high heat setting. The first one I purchased did have a problem with the handle coming loose but I could fix the problem in a few minutes. I haven't had that problem yet with this new pan.Very durable, easy to clean, great heat distribution, a good value for the money & I love the color as it matches my kitchen decor!Great pan and great size!
