I had been looking for this system to match my existing set that needed expansion. so glad I kept looking at Amazon. And for the price it was a superior find! Get yours toay!I really like this brand of Tupperware. I especially love that it has a place to grip it on each one.I used the product for my double zero flour to make pizza. The measuring cup I don't use for the flour but, I use for other measuring. I really like these containers and I have 3 of them.I bought one of these containers a few years ago for my sugar and really liked it. When I saw the set I had to purchase. The scoops are great and it keeps everything fresh and tidy in the cabinet. These also accept the labels really well and they don't peel off. You won't be disappointed in these containers.I didn't receive the set I ordered, received a set of three, I don't know how that happened. Being as Sistema Pantry containers are becoming harder to come by, I decided to keep them.Love this brand. I love to bake, and this set helped me to keep flour, sugar etc fresh. Really great set at an excellent price. Just bought 2 sets for my daughters' new house - filled with the items she will use. Great purchase. I do hand wash although it says dishwasher safe & believe the pieces will last. I'd give this 10 stars. It’s tight in container first when put 5lb bag of flour but it’s great keeps pantry organized and love the measuring cup included.I have purchased Sistema containers before and I like the 'new" sealing method, no "gasket" to try and remove to clean, broke em all. The clips/closure on their newer items is awesome. This easily holds my lt. and dk. brown sugar and other baking pantry/dry items. I would definitely purchase again, good price!I bought two 2.4L containers for flour. Seem well made so far no problems, the lids on fit perfectly. Picture to show the capacity for new full 1.5kg bag of flour, yes the lid goes on fine but the scoop has to be almost buried, I think that just means it's time to bake! Will be ordering more for sugar, raisins nuts etc.Done a lot researching trying to find the right size for my flour and rice, end up got the top 3 biggest Sistema containers 1.56L 2.4L 3.25L. Actually bought the 1.56L hoping for 1.5KG wholemeal flour, 2.4L for my leftovers strong white flour, NO!! Both not fitted! Then bought the biggest 3.25L hoping for 3KG flour, Excited wash then dry with kitchen roll straightaway after received, NO!! no chance fits 3KG flour, even with this 3.25L, looks like still have 1/3 left in the bag. So conclusion, 1.56L fits1KG, 2.4L fits 1.5KG not fit with handy measure cup, 3.25L fits the 1.5KG rice or flour with the cup no problem, no chance for 3KG anything!!! Not normally do any details review, just hope this review can helping someone like me searching for the “size” of how much the container can actually store never can possible found an answer. Lastly I rather containers £1 off sell without the cup, then a pound paid if you needed one, otherwise ended up too many measuring cups.Bought to store pasta as when you pour a bag it goes everywhere or you add too much to panThese looked great with the scoops to measure out amounts2 x 500g Spiral type pasta filled it to brim2 x 500g tube type pasta filled to brim2 x 500g macaroni left a small spaceto fit scoop in you need to juggle how you fill it upbut if your using some pasta as your putting rest in container no problemA 1lb bag of flour comes to about half level so should take 2lbnow after seeing these I will only need 2.4 size for caster/icing sugar coconut ectWorst struggle was finding containers that stored food properly but also in one colour to match my kitchen & matched each otherso many blue or multi offers but not many neutral glad I spotted Sistema bakery white lidsI originally spent £35 on the UPKOCH 10 KG container which was a mistake. That was made of cheap, brittle plastic, poorly packaged by the chinese manufacturer, fulfilled by Amazon but did not make the journey to me without significant damage. Although this Sistema is smaller, it does hold a full 1.5Kg bag of flour comfortably with room to spare AND you get a measuring cup that has the American "Cups" and the European ml's quantity markers. It is made out of really tough, clear polypropylene and the lid is so secure you can turn it upside down and shake it while it is full of flour. It is perfect for baking. The lid comes off completely with two clips that hold it tight but are easy to clip and unclip. You then have the entire top cavity to scoop out the flour with the provided cup. Nice and easy without getting flour everywhere. The handle is moulded into the shape itself and it is easy to pick up with one hand. It doesn't place too much strain on arthritic thumbs! The plastic is non-slip and I can pick up a container with 1.5Kg of flour with one WET hand and do it easily. I can even shake it with wet hands and it still grips. Getting them down from higher shelves will be super easy. This is the 3.25l version but they also do a 2.4l which I think has the same footprint but this 3.25l version is just taller by a few cm. The shorter one would probaly be OK for 1Kg bags of flour instead of 1.5Kg that easily fits in the larger version. Apart from flour, these containers would be ideal for rice, cereals or just about any other bulk, loose ingredient. This is a great product that doesn't take up too much counter space. Unless you are baking all day, every day you probably don't need anything bigger. For small kitchens like mine, this is the ideal size. I'm going to buy another, for wholemeal flour. I think they're underpriced. Get one while you can!Although there are many good reviews on this product, I thought I'd add mine. Having used this item for over a month I can vouch for this as being very good at keeping contents fresh and airtight. The added bonus is that it comes with a 1 cup measuring scoop which sits inside with your content (I use mine for storing flour for baking). I used to always use the glass jars from Ikea but thinking of the impracticality of glass jars is not ideal, and not good at being very airtight. The shape of this lock & clip container is the way it's shaped for ease of handling and storing for those with arthritis etc this is a thumbs up here.Contents wise, I would say it could easily store 2kg or more flour.
